After the Jazz N Palms 'Ses Rodes' album put him on the radar of those who know this summer, it's only fitting the artist now treats us to a few singles and reinterpretations from it on his own label. First up is 'Manana' in remix and alternate form.

Like all the tracks on the album, 'Mañana' is inspired by the beauty and nature of the White Isle and jazz-fusion sounds of the late 70ies. On the Remix, the lazy drums are live sounding and loose, the synths drift up to the heavens like wispy clouds and the bass is funky and deeply buried underneath the gentle guitar motifs which define this new version. It makes for a lounge-y vibe that sinks you into a romantic reverie.

The Alternate Version is slower and more sensuous, the golden chords resonate even further and the space between the drums allows the sax to get even sexier as you're utterly soothed and seduced.

This is the first of a few essential remix packages to come, and it's one filled with love.
